Mocha Protein Balls

the perfect little snack

Following on from creating my coffee and walnut baked protein cookies I needed to make something else using the  Missfits Nutrition Coffee Protein. The cookies went down such a treat.

I wanted to see if the protein tasted just as good raw as it did baked. And oh it does! These balls take no time at all the make and are a delicious bite-size healthy snack.

I run to and from work, and these are the perfect pre run snack to give me the energy I need to waddle through my route. The chocolate and coffee combo is dreamy and the peanut butter binds the balls together oh so well. I’m so excited to get some of the vanilla protein from Missfits to try, and come up with some more dreamy recipes.

Makes 16 balls
takes approx. 30 minutes

2 scoops of MissFits Multitasker Protein in Coffee Flavour
100g oats (use gluten free if required)
2 heaped tablespoons of cacao powder
5 tablespoons of maple syrup
125g peanut butter (smooth)
4 tablespoons of melted coconut oil

1. Simply, add all of the ingredients into the food processor and blitz until combined.
2. Roll into 16 balls and place in fridge to set for 30 minutes.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
