Vegan French Toast

A vegan friendly take on french toast which is a little bit healthier than the standard. It’s quick to make and tastes delicious. The perfect sweet treat for breakfast at the weekend.

Top with all of your faves and devour! what are you favourite toppings?

makes 3 slices (serves 1 person)
takes approx. 15 minutes

2 slices of wholemeal bread
70ml almond milk
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1. In a mixing bowl add your almond milk, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Combine.
2. Soak your bread in the mixture for 15 seconds on each side.
3. Heat a non stick pan over a medium heat and cook your bread on each side for a few minutes each.
4. Top with all of your favourites.
